But all Michael can remember is the boat out on the lough that never should have been there. The barometer points to rain as the young couple realise they might not grow old together. A lyrical exploration of loss and love LOUGH/RAIN is Real Circumstance's second production following its critically-acclaimed debut LIMBO (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, York Theatre Royal, Arcola Theatre, and the Mercury Theatre Colchester in 2007/08). Declan Feenan is under commission at the Bush Theatre and the Abbey Theatre Dublin, and has been attached to the National Theatre and the Royal Court. His first play LIMBO was produced by Real Circumstance. Clara Brennan is undertaking a PhD in Writing for Performance at Kingston University, and LOUGH/RAIN marks her professional debut.
